Solo Room Placement: Solo requestors may be assigned a room with other solo requestors, or in rooms where an opening becomes available. Solo requests are considered after all previous group requests have been considered. Solo requestors might not be placed until late summer, depending upon available space and may be updated/adjusted as open spaces change. |

Due Dates are firm and non-negotiable
New requests can only be submitted prior to midnight on the Due Date for that type of housing. Once a Due Date is reached, that type is closed and no new requests or edits are possible.
Notifications closely follow each Due Date
This email message from Housing will indicate if a request has been approved and accepted to proceed to a virtual Room Selection Event.
Attend your Selection Event to complete your housing sign-up
Students must attend their respective selection event (by one or more group members, or by another student who has been authorized as a proxy (email housing@westmont.edu).
IMPORTANT: If your group fails to select a room at your Selection Event, your request may be forfeited and it may be offered to the next qualifying group. Only those who are invited by Housing may attend a Selection Event. If you forfeit your room selection, you and every member in your group request may be placed at the bottom of the list and may even miss being placed in the residence hall for which you were previously accepted.
