Araceli Espinoza is deeply committed to empowering first-generation students. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Westmont College and her master’s degree from Pepperdine University. With a professional background rooted in hospitality and community partnerships, Araceli plays a vital role in advancing her institution’s mission to serve all students. Her exceptional contributions were recognized early in her career when she was named Employee of the Year during her first year in higher education.

A key driver in shaping enrollment pathways, Araceli has focused her efforts on supporting first-generation students from the local community. Her unique ability to empathize with students and collaborate with stakeholders has been instrumental in fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion at Westmont College. As a first-generation Latina student, Araceli’s personal journey has profoundly shaped her leadership approach, guiding her in building sustainable partnerships that pave the way for future leaders.
