General Education Mission Statement

The purpose of the General Education Program at Westmont College is to lay a foundation for a faith-informed liberal arts education, to guide students in making connections between a broad range of academic disciplines and knowledge and to nurture reflective, intercultural and communication skills with the ultimate goal of fostering intellectual vitality, expansive sympathies, Christian character and commitment to service that will last a lifetime.
