Biography/Details

Dr. Goodworth applies engineering approaches to investigate the human body. In particular, he studies human movement, balance, and biomechanics. His professional activities include research with federally funded grants and consulting. Dr. Goodworth received BS and MS degrees in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines before completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Oregon Health & Science University. He is a Professional Engineer and an accredited Accident Reconstructionist. He has postdoctoral training in pathological gait, a certificate in prosthetics from the Newington Certificate Program, and worked 9 years in a Clinical Physical Therapy (DPT) program prior to joining Westmont in 2019.
