Dr. Johan J. Estrada-López was born in Mérida, México. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He was a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the Autonomous University of Yucatán, in México for 10 years prior to joining Westmont College. He also worked as a Layout Design Engineer with Vidatronic Inc. and as a Design Intern with the Power Delivery Group of Intel Labs. His research interests include energy harvesting circuits and power management for Wireless Sensor Networks and IoT applications.
