Counseling and Psychological Services Request an Appointment

Update on our services for 2022-23: Students have requested more accessibility of our services and a broader range of therapists to meet with. We here at CAPS fully agree. Students have also responded in surveys that they are open to meeting with their therapist over telehealth (as opposed to in person), if that means they can be seen sooner. For the 2022-23 academic year, we now have added Westmont employed remote clinicians to our staff. As such, your sessions may occur over HIPAA compliant Zoom. We also have an office you can use here at CAPS to ensure confidentiality for you.

To request an appointment, you will be directed to complete several online forms, similar to those you would complete at any health / mental health office. They take 5-10 minutes, and due to confidentiality, the forms do not save until you complete the last one (so complete them in one sitting). After submitting your request, we typically respond via email within two business days.

If you are unable to complete the online forms for any reason, simply email our office manager at caps@westmont.edu.

If you are facing a psychological emergency, please review the information on our website about emergencies. Since online forms are not read by mental health staff immediately, they are not a means to communicate an emergency.
